The Preservation Trust of Spartanburg, in attempt to educate the community about historic preservation, offers several educational opportunities including:

• Self-guided or guided walking tours of the Hampton Heights Historic District for adults and children (tour brochures available at the Preservation Trust office)
• Presentations to organizations (civic, church, school, or garden)
• Workshops on various topics (Local designation, National designation, 120 day ordinance, Tax credits for historic homes)
• Guidance on historic paint color palettes
• Historic Research guidance for your home or family history
• Neighborhood/homeowner's guide to the benefits of preservation
